Roger Guthrie graduated from Texas Tech University on May 14 with an interdisciplinary Master of Science in energy, environment and natural resources law.
Guthrie, who wore a Choctaw Nation stole during the commencement ceremony, also earned a Master of Science in safety, security and emergency management from Eastern Kentucky University in 2022.
He serves as director of safety and compliance for Paxon Energy & Infrastructure, a pipeline inspection company.
His wife is Melany Guthrie, and their son, Andrew, graduated from Lubbock Christian High School on May 17.
