Dana Dearmon, a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma, graduated from the University of Mississippi with a Master of Science degree in Public Health, with concentrations in Community Health and Epidemiology. She previously graduated summa cum laude from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2023 with a bachelor’s degree in public health. Throughout her college career, Dana received support from the Choctaw Nation Higher Education Program scholarship.
While completing her graduate studies, Dana continued her professional work with Living Water International, a global nonprofit organization that serves developing countries through improved access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene services. Her work focuses on community and population health, epidemiology, program evaluation, and strengthening public health programs in underserved communities. Dana plans to continue advancing evidence-based public health initiatives both locally and globally.
