Justus Gibson is the son of Michael and Karen Gibson, and the Grandson of Bennie L Gibson and Edna Gibson, late of Finley, Oklahoma.
He received his PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Colorado in May 2025 and has accepted a position at the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, Maryland, to study galaxy evolution.
