Toni Jon “TJ” Reed passed away on April 27th in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was born on Valentines Day 1968 in McAlester, Oklahoma, to Hugh and Jerry (Cudd) Reed.
Toni was one of a kind in the best way. She was a true free spirit who did things her own way and never apologized for it. She had a creative soul and a natural talent as a cosmetologist, always making people feel good and look good without even trying. If you knew Toni, you knew she had a way of turning the ordinary into something beautiful.
She loved being in the kitchen and could absolutely throw down, feeding anyone who showed up with something made from the heart. But her favorite place to be was the lake. That’s where she was happiest, where the laughs were louder, the memories were better, and life just felt right.
More than anything, she loved her family. Being “G” to her grandbabies was one of her greatest joys. She made sure they had fun, stayed spoiled, and always had good snacks close by. Time with her was never boring. It was full of love, laughter, and a little bit of adventure.
She is survived by her children, Ashton Evans, Stormie Reed-Grand, and Hazen Reed; her siblings, Greg (Carrie) Reed and Lisa (Kenny) Prather; her aunt, Johnny Cudd; her grandchildren, Christian Clifton, Alex Evans, Aliveyah Evans, and Ransome Morgan; her great-grandbaby, Khalil Ford; and her nieces and nephews, Brooke Daney, Kody Reed, and Taylor Owens; and many great nieces, nephews, and cousins.
