Gregory Brent Church, 68 of Tulsa died Tuesday, July 7, 2026, in Tulsa.
Brent was born to Riley and Jimmie Lee (Smith) Church on April 23, 1958. He graduated from McAlester High School in 1976 and attended Okmulgee Tech earning a degree in graphic design. Brent married Debbie Elsing in August of 1979 at St. Joseph’s in Krebs.
Brent worked as a graphic designer for Halliburton Company in Duncan for several years. After leaving Haliburton, Brent relocated to Tulsa where he continued to work as a graphic designer for several years.
Brent enjoyed photography and working in the yard and spending time on the porch with his beloved pet cat Spooky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Riley and Jimmie Lee Church; wife, Debbie Church in February of 2026; sisters, Valerie Church and Shannon Church.
Brent is survived by his sister, Jayme Busby and Harold Scherman; niece, Lora Busby, nephew, Brad Busby; great niece, Peyton Barlow; sisters-in-law, Kari Elsing, Robin Texiera; brother-in-law, Larry Elsing and wife, Geri, other nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.
