Daniel Paul Simon

Daniel Paul Simon was born on January 16, 1996, in Bellflower, California to parents Marvin of the Choctaw Nation and Bernadette of the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska. Daniel sadly passed away in the early morning of January 31, 2026, in Lynnwood, California with all his family by his side. Daniel is now home with the Lord.

He attended school at Ernie Pyle Elementary. He attended school in Winnebago, NB while living with his mother and sister, Andrea. Daniel moved back to California and graduated from the 5th grade and South Gate Middle School in the city of South Gate. Later, Daniel stayed with his Aunt Norma in Durant and had a job working and getting his credits and graduated from Eastern Oklahoma State College in Wilburton and received his GED from Chief Gary Batton in May of 2018. This was a very proud moment for Daniel and his family. Daniel enjoyed skateboarding in his teens, going to movies with his dad and watching all the Marvel Universe movies. He was a Baltimore Ravens and L.A. Dodgers fan. He liked drawing and was a good sketch artist, listening to Mr. Bell’s stories on his TV and X-Box. Also, Daniel went to concerts at the Forum and Sofi Stadium to see his favorite K-Pop Korean Girl group, “TWICE” whenever they came to the Los Angeles area.

Daniel is preceded in death by his mother Bernadette Adele Simon; grandmother Lois Tebo; grandfather Albert Simon and grandma Rose Simon.

Daniel is survived by his father Marvin Simon; sisters Candace Wauneka, Kelly Tohannie, and Andrea Rose Simon; aunts Norma Cook, Lena Tiger, Melvis Wilson, and Alberta Di Angelo; uncles Mike Wauneka, Mike Simon, Alvin Simon, Danny Diangelo, Gary Simon, Darrell Tiger, and Tony Wilson; cousins Rachelle Diangelo, Amanda Narkevicius, Jasmine Simon, Denise Ripley, Cheryl Tiger, April Tiger, Annette Martinez, Hailey Martinez, Andrew Cook, Kai Wauneka, and Alex Wilson; and his friends from the Los Angeles area, Steve Torres, Jorge Vidrios, Peter Brenes, Manuel Torres, Jesse Puente, Steve Gonzales, Mark Star, Jairo Martinez, Eddie Zuniga Martinez, Syrus, and Danny.
