Arnold Dean Noah, age 59, of Pickens, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, May 22, 2026, at his home. Arnold was born Wednesday, November 23, 1966, to Culbertson and Ora Mae (Watson) Noah in Talihina, Oklahoma.
Arnold lived a life centered on faith, family, and the simple joys of the outdoors. He loved his family deeply, and nothing brought him greater happiness than spending time with his children and grandchild, who were the pride and joy of his life. For many years, Arnold faithfully attended Abundant Life Church in Pickens, Oklahoma, where his faith remained a guiding force throughout his life. He proudly served as a firefighter with the Choctaw Nation Forestry Department, dedicating many years to protecting others and serving his community with courage and honor. Arnold enjoyed listening to gospel and classic rock music, and he found peace in the outdoors while hunting, fishing, or simply getting lost down an old backroad. His kind heart, adventurous spirit, and unwavering love for his family and friends will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him.
Arnold is preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Culbertson Noah Jr., Johnson Noah & Donald Noah and one sister, Patricia Choate.
Arnold is survived by his spouse, Christy Bess of Pickens, three sons and daughters-in-law, Christopher and Morgan Standridge of McAlester, Oklahoma, Leewee and Carmelita Standridge of Battiest, Oklahoma and Howie and Randi Standridge of Lockesburg, Arkansas; two daughters and son-in-law, Hailey and Jaren Richards of Durant, Oklahoma and Shawntel Standridge of Pickens, Oklahoma; one grandchild, Kenai Noah Standridge of Battiest, Oklahoma; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Doris and Leon Choate of Pickens, Oklahoma, Darlene Estrada of Battiest, Oklahoma, Diantha Noah of Mt. Herman, Oklahoma, and Angee Noah of Pickens, Oklahoma; several nieces and nephews and a host of other family and friends.
