The Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma used its partnership with the Dallas World Cup 2026 Host City program to share Choctaw culture with an international audience.

Choctaw Casinos were an official Dallas World Cup 2026 Host City supporter as North Texas hosted matches and events during the 2026 FIFA World Cup.  This partnership showed how corporate sponsorship and tribal identity created opportunities to highlight Choctaw history, traditions and values.

Chief Gary Batton said at the outset that the partnership reflected the Choctaw values of unity, culture and togetherness.

According to Batton, those values have guided the Choctaw people for generations and aligned with the global spirit of the World Cup.

As part of the Dallas World Cup activities, the Choctaw Cultural Center, Choctaw Country and other Choctaw businesses set up informational booths for visitors.

Choctaw tribal members shared traditional social dances and explained their historical meaning to attendees. Interactive displays highlighted Choctaw art, craftsmanship and heritage for international fans to experience. Choctaw performers took the stage at the FIFA Fan Fest and Choctaw princesses greeted international visitors.

This partnership introduced fans from around the world to Choctaw traditions and culture as well as to its growing presence in the region.
