Stanley Douglass Riddle

Sacramento, California – Stanley Douglas Riddle, U.S. Army veteran, passed away on September 4th, 2025, after a long battle with a respiratory illness, at the age of 75. He was born June 4, 1950, in Oakland, California.

Doug, as he was known to his friends and family was predeceased by his loving parents, Edward Stanley Riddle, U.S. Navy, retired and Beaulahfay L. ‘Bunny’ Riddle, Avon Lady extraordinaire and his sister Connie Morgan. He is survived by his loving siblings Eddie Riddle and his wife Ana, Tom Riddle (no relation to Voldemort), Debbie Lower and her husband Steve, and Cindy Espinoza, as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Doug graduated from J.F. Kennedy High School in Sacramento, California, class of 1969.

He served as a communications specialist in Thailand during the Vietnam campaign and the U.S. Army recognized him for his honorable service with several medals. He was an active member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and a car salesman by trade, he could sell anything that wasn’t nailed down to the lot. He also owned a landscaping business, was a sharp dresser, appreciated the simple things in life, and you could never catch him without his Bible. His legacy is his unwavering faith in God.
