Roger Ed Coley

Roger Ed Coley, 49, of Poteau, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.

Roger was born on May 9, 1976, in Fort Smith, Arkansas, to Joe Ed Coley and Mary Frances (Mackey) Coley. On July 3, 2021, he married Andrea Dawn Martin at his home church, Cedar Baptist Church in Red Oak.

Roger graduated from Talihina High School with the Class of 1995. Shortly after, he proudly served his country in the United States Army, being inducted on January 15, 1997, and receiving an honorable discharge on January 14, 2000. Following his military service, Roger attended Kiamichi Technology Center, where he earned his HVAC certification.

For more than 15 years, Roger was a valued member of the Rubin White Clinic in Poteau, where he worked in maintenance. He was also a proud member of the Choctaw Nation.

Roger was a man of strong faith, a kind spirit, and a radiant smile. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, son, and brother whose love for family was unwavering. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Roger is survived by his loving wife, Andrea Coley; his children: Melanie Pohl and Matthew Simons, Raven Coley, VeAndre McDaniel, Alexa Coley, Isaach Coley, Kaila Lawson, and Kinsay Lawson; his parents, Joe and Mary Coley; his father- and mother-in-law, Milton and Maria Montes; his sisters, Diane Coley and Heather Coley; sisters-in-law, Angela (James) Burleson and JoAnne Sanchez; brother-in-law, Milton Montes Jr.; nephew, Ranes Riddle; aunts, Laura Mackey and Tina Mackey; as well as numerous cousins, extended family, and many dear friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Rufus and Lela (Yoda) Coley, and maternal grandparents, Raymond and Frances (Sam) Mackey.
