Judy Ann Phillips, 69, was born on July 20, 1956, in Corrine, Oklahoma to Dave and Suzanne Wickson. She passed away on February 21, 2026, with a heart full of the love of her family. Judy was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, James Morris LaFlore, David “Sonny” Wickson, Ray Wickson, Edmond Wickson and Fred Wickson and sisters, Ethel Ishcomer, Marian Aaron and Gladys Moore.
Judy married the love of her life, Thomas Raymond Phillips, on April 17, 1999. Their marriage was filled with laughter, debates and a deep bond. She was known for having a good time, whether it be having dinner with family, playing dominos with her kids or spending time with her grandchildren, but beneath it all was a love that was steady, loyal and enduring. Judy was a woman of incredible strength that was quiet but powerful. She had a fierce love and immense devotion to her family, and her presence was the glue that kept her family united.
Judy was the heart of the family, a daughter of twelve, a devoted wife, mother of five, stepmother of two, grandmother of twenty-five and great-grandmother of ten, aunt and cousin to many who always put others before herself. She took care of everyone, often carrying the weight of others’ worries without complaint. Judy was the peacekeeper, the calming voice during disagreements and the steady foundation that held her family together. Her greatest joy in life was time spent with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Judy is survived by loving husband, Thomas “Tommy” Phillips; sons, Ronald McLemore, Rick McLemore and wife Amber and Ty Pemberton and wife, Jackie; daughters, Julia Harris and husband Jerry and Jessica Smith and husband, Steven; grandchildren, Brittany, Richard, Alexis, Amaya, Quentin, Daniel, Kamden, Skylar, Alexandria, Jackson, Weston, Julian, Destiny, Jerry II, Dillion and William; great grandchildren, Hayln, Isabella and Arabella; sister, Annie Wickson; brother, Hoss Wickson and a slew of nieces, nephews and cousins.
