Charlotte Lee Smith

Charlotte Lee Smith, of Amarillo, TX died Thursday, February 13, 2025.

Charlotte Lee Nickels of Amarillo was born August 25, 1952. She graduated from Palo Duro High School in 1970. She married Gale Lee Smith on September 4, 1970. Charlotte started her career working for Judge Roberts, Potter County Judge. She had several other jobs between 1970 and 1991 regarding construction & building material companies. Then in 1991, she joined Mary Kay Cosmetics as an independent Consultant. It was within this profession that allowed her to touch and influence many young women. Several of their lives were changed for the better, due to the amount of time that Charlotte spent helping them grow their business and their relationship with the Lord. She sold Mary Kay for 34 years.

She worked hard at everything she did. From being a mother, to hosting Mary Kay parties, to teaching little children at her church. She also loved watching her grandkids grow.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her father and mother, Leroy and Dortha Mae Nickels.

She is survived by her husband Gale, her son and daughter-in-law, Jason & Jewelie Smtih and daughter and son-in-law, Charisa & Justin Bryant. She is also survived by her sisters, Linell Carter and Freda Shannon.

Her grandkids are Madison Bryant, Jayton Smith and wife Jessie, Jacey Satterwhite and husband Kade, Xavier Stockard, Jaron Smith and girlfriend Chloe Baer, Christian Bryant, and McKenzie Bryant. The great grandkids are Blaire Hand, Lucas Hand, Ada Jane Smith, and Millie Satterwhite.
