Zenobia Moheba Stephens Tyler celebrated her 95th birthday with family and friends at a surprise party. She was born Nov. 3, 1930, in Konawa, Oklahoma, and is the granddaughter of Isophene McCann Matthews and the great-great-granddaughter of Cornelius McCann.

A proud Choctaw, Tyler was recently recognized as the oldest Choctaw in attendance at the Choctaw Cultural Meeting in Tampa, Florida.
