
Lauren J. Reed, registered Choctaw artist currently residing in New Orleans, has been awarded the Blue Ribbon for First Place in Mixed Media at this year’s 103rd Annual Santa Fe Indian Market (SFIM).
Hosted annually in Santa Fe, New Mexico, SFIM is the largest and most prestigious Native art market in the world, drawing top Indigenous artists and collectors from across the globe.
“It is an incredible honor, and one of my life goals, to be recognized at Santa Fe Indian Market,” said Reed. “I am proud to represent the Choctaw Nation and to share my work with such an esteemed community of artists and supporters of Native art.
