Gianna Noelle Jones recently graduated from the University of Mary Washington with a Bachelor of Arts in English and Creative Writing. Jones graduated in the top 10% of her class, Cum Laude, with honors.
Jones is thankful for the scholarships she received from the Choctaw Nation, which helped her achieve her educational goals. She plans to further her education with master’s and doctoral degrees, and eventually become a writer and editor.
Jones’ Choctaw heritage comes from her great-grandmother, an original enrollee, Eva Blanche Southard.
