It is with profound sorrow and deep respect for her life that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Wilma Sue Moore, who departed this life peacefully on June 21,2025, at the age of 90.
Born to Ruth Etta and Edgar E. Woods on November 28, 1934 alongside her twin sister, Wanda, she was a woman of strength, grace, and unwavering love.
She lived her life with quiet dignity, and nurturing everyone fortunate enough to know her.
A devoted Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Friend, her wisdom and experiences over 90 beautiful years provided a steady guide for her family.
Wilma Sue Moore is survived by her children, Ricky Moore (Sheila), Stevie Moore, and daughter, Lisa Keyser (John); brother, James Woods (Betty, dec.); and twin sister, Wanda Burton (Richard, dec.); grandchildren, Miesha Anderson, Eli Frizzell, Micah Frizzell; and great-granddaughter, Adelaide Anderson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar Earnest and Ruth Etta Woods; brothers, Edgar Earnest Woods, Jr. (Joyce), Bobby Lee Woods (Glenna), Gradon Gene Woods (Juanita); and sister, Billie Ruth Huff (Archie).
Her family will strive to live their lives with the same courage and grace she exemplified every day.
Her memory will be eternally cherished.
