Phebe Ann Harley, age 72, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma died Sunday, March 22, 2026, at her home. She was born on Monday, May 4, 1953, to Joseph and Mary Amos Wallace in Talihina, Oklahoma.

Phebe lived a life centered on faith, family, and her deep love for her Choctaw heritage. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, she found her greatest joy in caring for those she loved, especially her grandchildren, whom she delighted in spoiling. For over 40 years, she was a faithful member of Myrtlewood Baptist Church, where she loved to sing Choctaw hymns and worship the Lord. Her faith guided her daily life and was a source of strength and comfort. Phebe also expressed her love through cooking, with her beans and banaha bread, and biscuits becoming cherished favorites among her family. In her younger years, she enjoyed playing volleyball, and in more recent years, she found joy in traveling. Phebe’s life was a beautiful reflection of love, tradition, and devotion, leaving a lasting legacy in the hearts of all who knew her.

Phebe is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Samson Wallace.

 Phebe is survived by her husband of 49 years, Billy Harley of Broken Bow, Oklahoma; her son and daughter-in-law, Kenny and Brenda Wallace of Moore, Oklahoma; her three daughters and son-in-law, Christy and Foueti Harley of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Crystal and Galen Harley of Broken Bow, Oklahoma and Lorinda Wallace of Broke Bow, Oklahoma; two sisters and brother-in-law, Joyce and Lee Watkins of Durant, Oklahoma and Barbara Wallace of Ada, Oklahoma; eight grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and many other beloved family and friends.
