Marcus was born on October 6, 1953, to Kelsey Wilmond and Ella Mae (Shoemaker) Wilmond in Ardmore, Okla. He attended Overbrook Schools, achieving his GED. Marcus worked at Button’s, then spent some time at Pit Pro’s, then returned to Button’s until his retirement.
He enjoyed OU football and Thunder Basketball. He loved spending time with his grandkids and going to all their functions.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Ray Willmond, Ronald Willmond and Larry Shoemaker.
Marcus is survived by his wife, Serena Wilmond, son, Dustin Wilmond and his Fiancé Yanasa Charcoal, daughter, Vanessa Wilmond, son, Tyler Wilmond and son, Todd Wilmond. Three grandchildren; Jeramiah Wilmond, Emkv Wilmond, Tyus Wilmond and sister, Melissa Mose.
