Lester Earl (Les) Fields was born Mar 2, 1956 at Idabel, McCurtain County, OK to
Clifton Dale and Martha Louise Harris Fields.
He passed away in Hugo, Choctaw County, OK on Mar 25, 2025.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale & Lou, his grandparents: S. C. & Homa
Fields, Claude & Lottie Harris.
He was a Choctaw Nation enrollee descended from Choctaw Chief Peter Pitchlynn.
He loved the Lord and was known to attend church at Choctaw Baptist west of Idabel
when he was able. He also attended bible study with Sister Kay Milam at Homestead of
Hugo.
He is survived by 2 sisters, Cindy Stephens and Ginny Neussendorfer and 3 brothers,
Curt, Mike and Cliff.
He was a collector of coins, knives, stamps and baseball cards. He was also an 8 year
chair volleyball player who enjoyed attending the Choctaw Wellness Centers in
Smithville and Hugo until he was unable to do so due to health issues.
