Jimmy Howard

Jimmy Dale Howard was born in Holdenville, Oklahoma, on December 23, 1933, and passed away at the Veterans Center in Norman, Oklahoma, on February 13. Jimmy served in the Army from 1956 to 1958.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Etta Howard of Spaulding, Oklahoma, brother Jesse Lee Howard of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and a baby sister, JoAnn. He is also preceded in death by his father and mother-in-law, Sam and Willette Nolen, and two sisters-in-law, Georgia Lee and Billye.

Jimmy married the love of his life, Norma Ruth Nolen, in 1954. They have two sons Stephen Howard of Norman, Oklahoma and Eric Howard of McLean, Virginia, three grandsons Joseph, Jakob, and Toby, one great grandson Ellis, brother Wayne Howard of Newalla, Oklahoma, sisters Carlene Castaneda, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Linda Bible of Holdenville, Oklahoma, nieces and nephews of his siblings Gary, Gina, Andrea, Anecia, Beth, Daron and Matthew.

Jimmy lived in Wetumka, Oklahoma, for many years, where he owned a Texaco service station and later a tire-and-oil-change business. After moving to Oklahoma City in 2010, he worked as an Ambassador at Resthaven Funeral Home for many years.
