Jerry Edward Gregory, 86, of Mulberry, Arkansas, passed away peacefully on July 3, 2025.
Born June 27, 1939, in Pocola, Oklahoma, to Curtis and Tilda (Pipkins) Gregory, Jerry lived a life marked by service, faith, and deep love for his family. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force and was a devoted member of the Mulberry Assembly of God. Jerry was also a proud member of the Choctaw Nation—an identity he held close to his heart.
Following his military service, Jerry continued his life of public service as an EMT and Deputy Sheriff in Gila County, Arizona. Whether responding to an emergency or lending a helping hand, Jerry had a servant’s heart and a strong sense of duty to others.
He was a man of many passions—crossword puzzles and cryptograms challenged his sharp mind, and he found joy in the simple satisfaction of mowing. But more than anything, Jerry cherished time spent with his loved ones, especially at family get-togethers filled with laughter, good food, and lasting memories.
Jerry is survived by his loving wife of 14 years, Lavern (Collett) Gregory of the home; two daughters, Dorothy Little and husband Geoff of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Jeanne Novak and husband Kent of Mulberry, Arkansas; three sons, Keith Moore and wife Martha of Mulberry, Arkansas, Kent Moore of Van Buren, Arkansas, and Kendall Moore and wife Pam of Mulberry, Arkansas; siblings Joe Gregory and wife Sadie, Carol Ray, Sherry Timm and Susie Gregory.
Jerry will be remembered for his steady faith, his love for country and community, and the joy he found in everyday life. His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy lives on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
