
Houston Harrison Johnson, age 38, of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at his home. He was born on Tuesday, January 12, 1988, to Melvin Noahubi and Geneva Carol Shomo in Talihina, Oklahoma.
Houston was a man of deep faith, generous spirit, and unwavering service to others. He cherished his church family at St. Luke United Methodist Church in Pine Bluff, where he faithfully attended services, lovingly cared for the church grounds, and joyfully served in the children’s ministries. Houston enjoyed playing football, listening to music, and sharing life with those around him. His family meant everything to him, and he took great joy in spending time with his nieces and nephews. Always willing to lend a helping hand, Houston gave freely of himself without ever expecting anything in return. His life was a true reflection of faith in action, and his kindness and selflessness will never be forgotten.
Houston is preceded in death by his father, Melvin Noahubi and two brothers, Falcon Rodriguez Shomo and Justin Shomo.
Houston is survived by his loving mother, Geneva Shomo of Manchester, Texas; stepfather, Fausto Coyote of Manchester, Oklahoma; six brothers, Fausto (BoBoy) Coyote of Manchester, Texas, Tremain Shomo of Redland, Oklahoma, Dustin Johnson of Glenwood, Arkansas, Ronelius Shomo, of Haworth, Oklahoma, Darren Neil Noahubi, of Idabel, Oklahoma, Timothy Noahubi of Durant, Oklahoma; one sister, Sylvia Shomo of De Queen, Arkansas; special friends, Steve and Vikki Hamilton of Pine Bluff, Arkansas; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
