Elizabeth Ann Tobias

Elizabeth Ann Tobias, age 41, of Houston, Texas, died Sunday, December 7, 2025, at her home in Idabel, Oklahoma. She was born on Tuesday, November 20, 1984, to Michael Tobias Jr. and Vivian Ruth Bales Murray in Houston, Texas.

Elizabeth was a warm-hearted woman whose greatest joy came from the deep bond she shared with her son, Kashton, and her family. She loved spending time with them and with the friends who brought so much light into her life. Always striving to better herself, Elizabeth was known for taking courses and finding new ways to grow, learn, and stay curious. She had an appreciation for all kinds of music and loved relaxing on Sundays while cheering on the Houston Texans. Elizabeth worked at the Choctaw Nation Travel Plaza in Garvin, where she was known for her friendly nature and strong work ethic. She will be remembered for her kindness, her love for the people closest to her, and the genuine warmth she carried with her every day.

Elizabeth is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Ronald and Mary Bales and her maternal step-grandfather, Aubrey Murray.

Elizabeth is survived by her son, Kashton Young of Houston, Texas; her father, Michael Tobias of Highlands, Texas; her mother and step father, Vivian and Danny Murray of Conroe, Texas; her paternal grandparents, Michael Sr. and Helen Tobias of Highlands, Texas; maternal step grandmother, Linda Murray of Magnolia, Texas; three brothers and sister-in-law, Joey Carrera of Hawaii, Micah and Jolene Tobias of Guam and Anthony Tobias of New Mexico; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Linda and David Toddy of Conroe, Texas, Danielle Tobias of Kingwood Texas and Tara and Miguel Aleman of Kingwood Texas; several nieces and nephews and many other beloved family and friends.
