Donald Ray Blake was born on August 2, 1936, at Howe, Oklahoma to Robert and Sarah (Caldera) Blake. He passed away in Edmond, Oklahoma on July 25, 2025, at the age of 88.

Donald was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Sarah Blake; his siblings, Robert Blake, Anita Blake and Delores McCann.
Donald enjoyed camping, hunting and fishing. He worked for Western Electric Company, Southwestern Bell and AT&T for many years. After retirement, he taught operations management at the AT&T Training Center.
