
Delores Lawan Sandin 65, of Keota passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Talihina. She was born on June 18, 1960 at Kanima to Aren Barnett McCann. She grew up at Kanima and graduated from Keota High School. She was married to Oliver Sandlin on July 16, 1976 and made their home together at Keota. She was a hard working lady who raised chickens on a poultry farm and later operated the Lions Den convenience store for many years. She was a talented seamstress and loved spending time with her family. She especially adored her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Oliver Sandlin of Keota; one daughter, Elisha Lovell of Stigler; two sons, Jason Sandlin and wife Tara of Keota, Seth Sandlin and wife Bethany of Stigler; special nephew, Dustin McCann of Stigler; her grandchildren, Ashlie and Justin Brassfield, Kayd, London and Wes Wisdom, Luke, Rush, Myles, Malachi, Brylar, Bryggs, Mason, Ellie, Rome, Sayde, and Dash; her great grandchildren, Mason, Alvie, Jacie, and one on the way, Ollie; three brothers, Phillip and Kenny McCann of Kanima, Leo Perry Jr. of Stigler; one sister, Susan Tyler of Arkoma; 3 nephews and one niece. She is preceded in death by her mother, Aren McCann; daughter, Shelly Sandlin; 2 sisters, Katherine Smart and Laverne McCann; 2 brothers, Lawrence Sonny McCann and Dewayne McCann; her father and mother in law, Floyd and Betty Sandlin; her son in law, Jason “Wally” Lovell.
