Cathie Jeynell Eubanks, 72, of McAlester, Oklahoma, passed away on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the Choctaw Nation Healthcare Center in Talihina, Oklahoma.
Cathie was born on March 1, 1953, to Buster Gardner and Catherine Eilleen (Wilson) Gardner. She married the love of her life, Jerry Eubanks.
Cathie was devoted to her family — a loving, protective mother and grandmother who cherished every moment spent with her children and grandchildren. She was artistic and creative, and she could light up any dance floor with her talent as a country swing dancer.
She is survived by her daughters: Kimberley Eubanks and husband, Phillip Hice, and Tracy Lentz and husband, Tony Lentz; her son, Jeffery Eubanks; and her grandchildren: Leslie Canada, Adam Canada, Cheyenne Eubanks, Dakota Eubanks, Austin Castellon, Phoenix Eubanks, and Jacob Eubanks. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren: Eve Elebyany, Charlotte Lira, and Dominic Lira; her brothers: Darrell Gardner and wife, Carolyn Gardner, Gary Gardner, and Jessie Gardner and wife, Brandy Gardner; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Cathie was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Eubanks; her parents, Buster Gardner and Catherine Eilleen (Wilson) Gardner; her sisters, Linda Haislip, Resa Waters, and Robin Gardner; and her brothers, Benny Gardner and Delbert Gardner.
