Bobby James Wrisner, of Princeton, Texas, passed away in his home on May 11, 2025, at the age of 78. He was born on November 19, 1946, in Durant, Oklahoma, to Frank James and Ruth Wesley Wrisner.
Bobby spent over four decades as a dedicated machinist, showcasing his commitment to his craft. Beyond his work life, Bobby’s role as a loving father and Papaw was where he truly shined. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and great grandkids and made each one feel uniquely cherished.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving daughters, Bobbie Sue Ross of Durant, Oklahoma, and Lela Wrisner Keel (Kidd) of Princeton, Texas. His legacy continues through his cherished grandchildren, TJ Keel (T-ball) of Denison, Texas, Amberlee Keel Rivera (Ambro) and her husband Raul Rivera of Sherman, Texas, Kimberlee Keel (Kimbro) and her partner Rudy Avalos of Sherman, Texas, and his 13 great-grandchildren, who brought him great joy and laughter. Bobby also leaves behind his half-sister, Sue Ann Davenport of Durant, Oklahoma.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Frank and Ruth Wrisner, his beloved partner Bonnie Davis Wrisner, his grandson Justin Ray Ross, his brothers Troy Lee and Roy Lee, his stepbrother Paul Ray Williams, and his sister LouAnn Wrisner.
Bobby’s journey on this earth may have come to an end, but the impact of his presence will be felt for generations to come. He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed.
A celebration of Bobby’s life will be held at a later date.
Funeral arrangements were made under the direction of Holmes-Coffey-Murray Funeral in Durant, Oklahoma.
