
Bill was born June 26, 1950, in Talihina, Oklahoma, the son of Nicholas Alexander Cochnauer and Nora Anderson Cochnauer and resided most of his life in Hugo, Oklahoma.
He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Betty Arlene Bowden and Vickey Marie Felter; five brothers, Lee Cochnauer, Stanley Cochnauer, Marion Cochnauer, Bobby Cochnauer and Dixon Cochnauer; sister-in-law, Barbara Eiland Cochnauer and the love of his life, Linda Eiland Cochnauer.
Bill was the first in his family to graduate high school. After graduation he went to work for International Paper Company in Valliant, Oklahoma. He then continued his career for over 30 years with the City of Hugo. He enjoyed auctions and playing with his grandkids.
Survivors include his daughter, Lenora Ruth Ankit and husband, Ankit Ankit of Denton, Texas; one son, Billy Cochnauer of Dallas, Texas; granddaughter, Adriyanna Cochnauer of Denton, Texas; two grandsons, Luther Mangrum and Coltan Mangrum of Ector, Texas; one brother, N.H. Cochnauer of Sawyer, Oklahoma; one brother-in-law, Douglas Felter of Natchez, Mississippi, along with many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The family would like to extend their love and gratitude to his granddaughter, Adriyanna Cochnauer, for being his main caretaker for the last four years, nurturing, loving and caring for him.
