It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Donna Ann Locke Oiler, a proud member of the Choctaw tribe of Oklahoma, at the age of 79. Born in Hugo, Oklahoma on May 26, 1945, to Vernon Locke and Betty Jo Cearley, she raised her family in Pasadena, Texas where she lived a life full of love, devotion, and service to God.

Donna was preceded in death by her beloved Harold Gene Oiler, the love of her life, by her mother, father, and stepfather Clyde Lowery, by her sisters, Patricia McClelland and Debbie Haines, and her cherished niece, Jessica. She is survived by her sons, Arnold Richard (Rick) Oiler, his son Connor Gene Oiler, and her great granddaughter, as well as by her son Shawn DeWayne Oiler, his wife Amy, and their children Nathaniel Thomas Oiler and Emma Kathleen Oiler. She is also survived by her two sisters, Annette (Bunny) Harrison and Yona Fitzgerald, her brother Clyde (Peaco) Lowery, and their families. Donna was known as a “Second Mother” to many and held her friends as family. With Harold, she built a home of welcome and warmth.

Donna had a passion for life that was evident in all she did. She loved football, raising and trading horses, and playing softball. As “Team Mom” for all of her sons’ sports teams, she was a constant source of support and encouragement. She enjoyed Elvis, country music, religious music, and oldies, and was a devout Christian who lived her life under the Lord’s radiant light.

She passed peacefully on February 13, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and devotion. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
