Cadence Wickson

Cadence Alexander Wickson, 13, gained his heavenly wings on February 8, 2025, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, surrounded by his loving family. Cadence was born on February 6, 2012 in Talihina, Oklahoma, the son of Bradley Wickson and Tonya Lott.  He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Eugene Smith; uncle, Sean Lott; great grandparents, Dave and Shirley Wickson; uncle, David Wickson; aunts, Sharon Deal and Veanna Wickson.

Cadence went to Parker Intermediate Center Middle School in McAlester, Oklahoma and was a member of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma. He enjoyed drawing, playing on his phone, watching anime and singing.

Cadence was known for his big smile and loving heart. He was the boss of the family and always kept everyone in line. Cadence never met a stranger and to know him was to love him. His passing has left a void in the lives of his family and friends, but his loving memory will live on in their hearts forever.

Cadence is survived by his loving family; father, Bradley Wickson of Stigler, OK; mother, Tonya Lott of Durant, OK; Adoptive Mother, granny, Jackie Wickson-Smith of McAlester, OK; grandfather, Tony Jackson of Hugo, OK;  Nana, Patricia Davidson of Durant, OK; Great Granny, Barbara Gordon of Rock Island, OK; Great Great grandmother, Alice Smith of Fort Worth, TX; brothers, Braxton Wickson, Drake Wickson, Ethan Wickson, Felix Wickson, and Milo Williston; sister, Amara Wickson; aunts, Rhonda Wickson and husband, Donald, Rachel Battiest, Tammy Morrison, Christiana Riley, Jocelyn Lopez, Rebecca Ruffin, Angel Smith and Billie Jo Glidden; uncles, Dustin Lott, Chris Davidson, Micah Riley, Edward Wickson, Wesley Wickson, Eugene Smith, Jr., and Michael Smith; along with a host of cousins, other family and friends.
