Advocates and tribes continue to bring awareness to Missing and Murdered Indigenous People

The crisis of Missing and Murdered Indigenous Peoples (MMIP) remains a significant issue in America. The Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) reports approximately 1,500 American Indian and Alaska Native individuals are missing, with around 2,700 murder and non-negligent homicide cases documented.
